Scout Pickup

About

An independent guide, written for the people waiting on one.

Scout Pickup collects everything Scout Motors has said about the Terra and puts it next to the things it hasn’t said, the things reporters have said instead, and the trucks it competes with. Every figure is sourced and dated, and every Scout figure is marked as what it is: a target for a truck that is not yet built.

The site is published by Beach 4x4 LLC of Kill Devil Hills, North Carolina, a 4x4 rental company that also runs the Carolina Auto Program, a drive-before-you-buy program for adventure 4x4s on the Carova beach. That is why the site keeps pointing you at a beach: it is what we do, and it is the best place we know to find out what a truck is before you buy it. We would like to put a Scout on the sand the day Scout allows it.

Photographs of the Scout Terra on this site are Scout Motors press images from its newsroom, used for editorial purposes and credited where they appear. Beach photographs are our own.
